Hi Linda,
I purchased your e-book from this site a week ago and the diet has already made an amazing difference. I'm a classic case I guess, 5' 6" and 200 lbs, but consuming 1200 calories a day. Nothing I was doing was working! My weight has been dropping fairly steadily in the past few days since beginning phase 1 of the diet, and starting the juices. Thank you so much for the knowledge! :-)

I am 10 months post-partum. For the past 3 months I excercise 6 days a week for 45 min. My diet (also transitioned within the last 3 months) consists of gluten-free vegan foods. I tried an herbal thyroid activator thinking maybe my thyroid wasn't functioning properly, and I still lost no weight. This has led me to believe water retention is the culprit.

You are correct that rapid fluctuations in weight within only 24 hours are usually a sign of water retention.

If your question is 'Will the Waterfall Diet help me?' please note that the Waterfall Diet is a book with much important information to help you understand why you may have developed water retention. It also includes a self-test to find out what foods are safe for you to eat, and lists healthy foods which can help to combat water retention. The test and eating guidelines can help to treat up to seven different causes of water retention. It is not possible to predict in advance which people will respond to the Waterfall Diet, but most do.

If your question is 'Is the Waterfall Diet safe for people with diabetes, heart disease etc?' the answer is yes, the Waterfall Diet is a healthy, balanced diet. But if your doctor or dietician has given you a medical diet for kidney disease or other serious condition, and asked you not to deviate from it, then you should ask permission before adopting any other diet.

Hi,
i have changed my diet to an almost raw vegan diet, that is i eat mostly veg, fruit and nuts since january 2010. But have a very slow weight loss process, till now i only lost 9kg and 10% of the excess body fat. I still have another 15kg and 15%body fat to loose. I train everyday and almost always in a calorie deficit. sometimes i weight myself and will be 1kg or more than the day before. I am sure this might be water retention as for me it seems impossible to gain 1kg or more overnight with a flactuation in the fat and body water %. i am only 29years old and weight at the moment is 65kg. with a 34.6% body fat.

I get many people reporting problems like this. The digestion often weakens as people get older. See how you get on with the Waterfall Diet. If you'd like help with the other problems I am available for personal consultations by email.

Hi I just bought your ebook, it sounds really good i know this will work for me. 5 years ago I lost 20 KG, but I gained it all back in addition to 10 kg of my weight. I gained 30 KG in five years in london. it was weird I didnt eat much. In London bread makes my tummy hurt and feel bloating, Milk either make me bloat or have gases. During in london, I have psoriasis and eczema, I feel so swollen the week before my period, and also have breast tenderness. I dont know why I have these problems, and gaining weight.

What causes water retention? Can it be a lung issues? What if you have constant water retention, can it be a diet issues? OR sitting to much in front of a computer? My legs are swollen. I have no known heart condition and have been check for that. I've been check for lung problems too but it doesn't seem to be that.

Hi Linda,
I came across a message board about water retention, and your book,The Waterfall diet was metioned, and recommended. I have water retention big time. I've tried water pills for awhile, but now it has stopped working. There was a time when I had a little tomato soup (homemade) late in the evening, and blew up big time the next day. I'm like what in the world happened. I just ordered your book, and I look forward to getting started. Just to add, I really don't eat that much, but yet I gain weight. I will you keep you posted
